Scope and Contents

This series contains material about broader Central Coast Filipino American community projects, relevant to Santa Maria, Pismo Beach, Five Points, San Luis Obispo, and Montalvo. A bulk of materials are related to preservation efforts of the Pismo Beach Philippine Islands Market, a cornerstone to the local Filipino community from the mid to late 1900's. Additional materials include collaborative projects with Grace Yeh, an Ethnic Studies professor from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
