This collection contains materials collected over the lives of Lily and Pedro Aradanas. Pedro's materials relate to his immigration from the Philippines to America during the manong generation in the early 1920s (reflective of Filipino migration patterns throughout America, specficially along the west coast, based on labor demands). Lily Aradanas taught as a bilingual educator in public schools in Lompoc, CA from 1980-94. This is a folder of papers collected during Lily Aradanas' time as a bilingual teacher for Lompoc's La Honda Elementary Achool and El Camino Elementary School. Includes written and typed correspondances, schedules, learning summaries, school projects, lesson packets, a receipt, and 20 photographs with two negatives.
