This collection contains materials collected over the lives of Lily and Pedro Aradanas. Pedro's materials relate to his immigration from the Philippines to America during the manong generation in the early 1920s (reflective of Filipino migration patterns throughout America, specficially along the west coast, based on labor demands). Scope and Contents
This folder contains 9 sub-folders of photographs, each relating to a specific gathering or family member. These photographs depict Lompoc's Filipino Community from the 1940s until the early 2000's. Photographs were taken at the Philippine Island Market in Pismo Beach, of Filipino fraternities, photographs from military service during WW2, and private family photos.
