Missions--California

The Early California Lantern Slides are comprised of 89 glass lantern slides made between 1900 and 1930. The images are primarily of California Missions, but also include other regional subjects such as the California Aqueduct.

This collection consists of papers gathered by Sue Higman in her roles as board member and officer of several local Santa Barbara organizations, her correspondence on environmental issues, and papers related to the Early Mission Music Program.

This record group documents the activities of the Mission Olive Preservation, Restoration, and Education Project and includes adminstrative records, organizational documents, publicity materials, photographs, and educational materials about growing and preserving mission olive trees.

The Santa Barbara Presidio Postcard Collection contains postcards accumulated from multiple sources by the Presidio Research Center. This collection emphasizes the Santa Barbara Presidio, the surrounding Presidio neighborhood, the City of Santa Barbara, and the California Missions.
