This collection consists of community-donated genealogy charts largely tracing lineage to members of the founding Spanish occupation force at the Santa Barbara Presidio in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.

Abstract

This collection consists of physical genealogy charts, created by community members and donated to the Presidio Research Center from 1980 to present. Genealogy charts show community member's ancestry connected to Santa Barbara Presidio soldiers during the initial Spanish occupation of the region in the late 18th and early 20th centuries.

Arrangement

Materials are labeled with the name of the chart if provided. Majority of materials are identified by by the initial person identified at the origin of the lineage chart.
