From the Collection:

This collection contains materials collected over the lives of Lily and Pedro Aradanas. Pedro's materials relate to his immigration from the Philippines to America during the manong generation in the early 1920s (reflective of Filipino migration patterns throughout America, specficially along the west coast, based on labor demands). Lily's objects were collected from her work in Lompoc, California from her service in the Catholic church, as an educator in elementary schools, and her religious studies.
