Biography
A native daughter of Santa Barbara, Jean Storke was one of three children born to Thomas More and Elsie (Smith) Storke. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College in 1927/ The following two years were spent as a teaching assistant in the Physics Department at Stanford while working on her MA, which she received in 1931.
