Scope and Contents These files contain background articles, photographs, drafts of legal documents, and newspaper clippings documenting the planning of the purchase by the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation and the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County of the Santa Inés Mission Mills in 1996. The 38-acre parcel includes a fulling mill, a grist mill and two reservoirs, along with agricultural land.
